We just came back from 16 days in this van, and we had an absolutely amazing time! Customer service was excellent, the van was perfect with everything we needed! The size was perfect for the four of us - could drive in all these small streets when we were in this car. We highly recommend The Getaway Van, and will definitely be back!
It's our second time - Summer holidays in 2017 and 2019: very special! And with the subpanels we didn't need any electricity! Enjoying driving, staying and people passing by and laughing all the time! We too!
This Van is the best option to travel through Portugal! The founders are very nice and really helpfull:). If you want to explore this beautiful country on your own, this camper is a pretty good idea! #Inlovewiththedeepseababy!
It was an amazing experience for my first road trip in a camper van. I have to start from the company owners who are really helpful and informative about the van! The van itself (sunshine) was perfect for our adventure all around Portugal. It's impressive how a compact van like that literally needs nothing else, it have everything you need! Me & my friend really recommend The Getaway Van for great adventures & good vibes!!
Perfect Service and lovely Vans. Warm Welcome and one of the best holidays we have ever done. Portugal and The Getaway Van ♡
Recomendo e voltarei a usar do serviço!
My friend and I rented a getaway van for a week at the start of August and had an incredible week touring the country. From the moment we were
picked up for the airport we were welcomed with open arms and treated to a top quality experience. We didn’t have a plan for our trip so took all the advice, handy books and organised files available and took them up on their fantastic tips to explore the north as well as the south.
The van itself was perfect and equipped with everything we could possibly need including cooking essentials like oil, salt and pepper and a range of spices as well as wind breaks for the beach and body and hand towels. We could not recommend them more and suggest everyone to rent one to take on the Portuguese countryside. Hope to come back and
have another adventure soon!
Seriously, best van experience ever!
Just had the best vacation with the van I could probably ask for! The van was equipped with everything needed, even warm water and a heater! Top notch! Very helpful hosts in every way, from first contact with email to returning the van in a different location than pick up. Recommend Getaway van to everyone!
